We asked our FoodTech 500 top-runners to give us a bit of insight into how they started out as a company and their thoughts on the role of technology in Food innovation. Meet Przemek, Waldek, Grzegorz, Rafał and Michał, the team behind Dietly.pl, a marketplace for healthy meal delivery. Let’s see what the founders had to say.

So tell us a little bit more about you! Where did the idea for your FoodTech company come from?

Dietly.pl’s team: The healthy meals delivery market is rapidly growing. At Dietly.pl, we cherish healthy eating and wanted to promote this habit in our home country. So far we are in Poland, but in 2020 we are planning to get abroad!

Why do you think it’s important to see the food industry embrace tech?

Dietly.pl’s team: Everyone needs to eat! We need to make food and food delivery smarter and cheaper, and technology can help us do that.
