The company also chose Selkäharju, Lappeenranta, Finland, as the location for Factory 02, its first industrial-scale production facility that will increase Solein® production capacity from Factory 01’s 160 tons annually to 6,400 tons annually. Read more

It also unveiled Solein Cream, a three-ingredient dairy-free alternative made from its gas-derived protein Solein®, water, and vegetable oil, designed to address bottlenecks in non-dairy products. It contains roughly three times as much protein as dairy cream, emulsifies and cooks without gums or modified starches, doesn’t curdle, and can be used in coffee creamers, ice creams, yogurts, béchamel sauces, and cultured cheese applications.
